Carrot Mango Frozen Yogurt Pops

Carrot Mango Frozen Yogurt Pops - A healthful frozen novelty kids will love. Add a splash of rum for the adults! |

When I think of childhood summers, I think of lots of time spent outside, going to Lake Michigan once in awhile, and frozen novelties. My family wasn’t a big dessert family – we certainly didn’t have it every night. But during the warmer months, our freezer always seemed to be stocked with a variety of ice cream sandwiches and frozen fruit bars. Dinners ended with a sweet and frosty cold note.

These Carrot Mango Frozen Yogurt Pops are kind of a grown-up version of the treats I remember from my childhood, although I think kids would love these, too! They are a simple combination of vanilla yogurt, a little honey for extra sweetness and V8 Veggie Blends Carrot Mango. For an adults-only version, I like to add a splash of rum (vodka works well, too).

V8 has recently introduced four varieties of V8 Veggie Blends. These beverages are a flavorful combination of vegetables with a touch of sweet fruit that provide one full serving of vegetables in every 8-ounce glass. Whether drinking straight from a glass, or incorporating them into recipes, these beverages are a great way to get a little more veg into your lifestyle!

V8 is available at major grocery and convenience store locations nationwide. Be sure to follow V8 on Twitter and Facebook, with the hashtag #V8VeggieBlends.

  1. I’ve been on such a popsicle making kick lately. My mom loves V8 but I never thought of making pops with it! I’ll have to try this (with a little bit of rum for myself 😉 )

  2. The carrot mango juice was definitely my favorite when it comes to natural sweetness and would make the perfect ice pops! Definitely giving these a shot this summer for a healthy treat 🙂

  3. I haven’t had a V8 in a few years – these pops look fabulous!! I know what’s going on my shopping list for next week! 😉

  4. We make carrot-mango smoothies all the time, but I never thought to combine these flavors in a popsicle, WITH RUM. Awesome. We need a grown-ups-only section of our freezer 😉
