My restaurant review of Atomic Dawg in Berkley, MI was published for The Oakland Press last week. Grilled hot dogs for dinner is what I consider a fine summer meal. At home, the toppings include ketchup, mustard, relish, and if I’m feeling super fancy, chopped onions. At Atomic Dawg, the toppings include jicama coleslaw, tzatziki sauce, mango and jalapeño sauce (although not all on the same dog). Fancy! Add Coke and Faygo in ice cold glass bottles to the mix, and I’m all set.
