Top 10 Recipes of 2015 |

What a year it was! In 2015, Jeff and I said goodbye to our first home (and the teeny tiny dining room “studio” where I started my business). We moved to a new home with a kitchen that was sorely outdated 15 years ago, and nearly immediately demolished that kitchen and built the #FLLDreamKitchen (a full reveal with lots and lots of photos of that on the blog next week!).

I traveled to California for a photography workshop, and then to Idaho to learn all about potato farming. I fed #oneflops lots of fortune cookies, welcomed new nephews, and made ridiculous bloody marys. I found a zucchini as big as my arm, enjoyed time in my new home office, and cooked a pot of chili in the backyard.

But more than anything, I enjoyed being here, sharing recipes that I love with my readers.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting me and this blog. I appreciate every comment, double tap, re-tweet, share and thumbs up.

And with that, let’s explore the top 10 most popular recipes of 2015 on Foxes Love Lemons. Just click on the recipe title below each photo to be taken directly to the recipe post.

In trying to find trends, I noticed that three of the top ten were slow cooker recipes, and another three involved eggs.  There were a few appetizers, but no cocktails. There weren’t any desserts (unless you call hot chocolate a dessert), but that’s probably because I don’t make many desserts around here.

What was YOUR favorite recipe this year? What would you like to see me make in 2016? Please let me know in the comments below!

  1. I want everything on this list including your kitchen.

  2. My favorite recipe from the year (at least I think it was 2015) was the grilled flank steak salad with fresh cherry vinaigrette.  There were several I would like to make but haven’t gotten to yet, like the Mexican street corn salad, the ancini de pepe spring salad, the s’mores hot chocolate, the ricotta & fig oatmeal, the Greek mashed potatoes.  Eventually I’ll get to most of them, but won’t be cooking at all for the next 4 months (long cruise), so it won’t be soon.  Happy New Year!!!

    • Oh my gosh, that flank steak salad with the cherry dressing. Yes! I’ll always remember that one, because it’s one of the first things we ate in our new house. I think we were moving that evening, so we ate it on paper plates in the backyard, because the only furniture we had over here was the outside table and chairs 🙂

Wow, what a cruise! Where are you headed?

  3. Great post and will look forward to next week’s FLL Dream Kitchen step by step renovation photos.

  4. Lori, we are headed around the world, as in circumnavigate the globe.  Includes South Pacific, NZ, Australia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Dubai, Oman, Israel, Jordan, Italy, Greece, Monaco, Spain, and final port before going home, Madeira.  We do send out updates, so if you want me to put you on my email list, I’d be happy to do that.  Just let me know before January 4.

  5. Everything is perfect, keep sharing 🙂
