Best Blood Orange Margarita Recipe

This Blood Orange Margarita recipe is sweetened with honey, and comes together in 5 minutes, with just 4 ingredients.

Ingredients

  • Kosher salt and/or brown sugar or granulated sugar for rimming glass (optional)
  • 2 ounces blood orange juice
  • 1 ½ ounces blanco tequila
  • 1 ounce lime juice
  • ¾ ounce honey

Instructions

  • If desired, moisten rim of glass with damp paper towel and dip in salt and/or sugar.
  • Fill cocktail shaker or beaker with ice. Add blood orange juice, tequila, lime juice and honey and shake or stir well.
  • Fill prepared glass with fresh ice and strain drink over ice. Serve immediately.

Notes

You will need 1 to 2 small blood oranges and 1 large lime to yield 2 ounces fresh blood orange juice and 1 ounce fresh lime juice.
