Fish Tacos Sauce

The Best Fish Taco Sauce is also the easiest. No chopping necessary, and no fresh herbs or even garlic required. You'll only need 1 lime and a handful of fridge and pantry staples.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 1 ½ teaspoons sriracha
  • ½ teaspoon grated lime zest
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cumin
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt

Instructions

  • In medium bowl, whisk together all ingredients until smooth.
  • Makes about 1 cup. Refrigerate at least 1 hour for best flavor. Can be refrigerated up to 3 days.

Notes

  • Greek yogurt can be used in place of the sour cream.
  • Don’t have a lime? Lemon juice and zest work just fine here.
  • Any type of hot sauce works in place of the sriracha, or omit the hot sauce altogether for a mild sauce.
