These strawberry Moscow mules have just 5 ingredients and take just 5 minutes to prepare. It's the most refreshing cocktail for a hot summer afternoon!
2largestrawberrieschopped, plus additional whole berries for garnish
2tablespoonsstrawberry preserves
3ouncesvodka
1ouncefresh lime juice
12ouncesginger beer
2lime wedgesfor garnish
Instructions
Divide chopped strawberries between two copper mugs or double old fashioned glasses. Use muddler or back of spoon to crush berries into a pulp. Divide strawberry preserves, vodka and lime juice between mugs, stir until well combined.
Fill each mug with ice and top off with ginger beer; stir. Garnish with lime wedges and additional strawberries and serve immediately.
Notes
You don’t have to go super high end, but opt for a nice vodka for this drink. I usually use Tito’s.
Experiment with adding fresh herbs like basil or mint. You can muddle them with the fruit, or simply use them as garnish for some added aromatics.
