Spiked Pomegranate Arnold Palmer
I have been allllllll about the cold beverages lately, even though it’s actually been a pretty cool summer so far. Seriously, I was wearing a light sweater and cuddled u
nder a blanket the other evening. In July. In Michigan. That’s rare! But even still, I won’t let the summer season pass me by without enjoying all my favorite summer party drinks, like homemade lemonades, Moscow mules, and of course, the classic Arnold Palmer. Errrr . . . a twist on the classic Arnold Palmer.
I actually put a couple of twists on the classic here. First, I started with a batch of my homemade vanilla lemonade, which you may remember from last week.

Feel free to start with any kind of prepared lemonade you like. I used about a 3 : 1 ratio of iced tea to lemonade, just because when you use homemade lemonade, the lemon flavor is so much more pronounced than lemonade mix, so you don’t need quite as much to get that classic Arnold Palmer flavor.
For the final twist, I spiked my drink with a generous amount of PAMA Liqueur. This Spiked Pomegranate Arnold Palmer is the perfect signature cocktail for any summer gathering. It’s easy to make in advance in a large batch, it’s super refreshing, and I don’t know anybody that wouldn’t love one!
Spiked Pomegranate Arnold Palmer
Ingredients
- 3 cups prepared iced tea
- 1 cup prepared lemonade
- ½ cup PAMA Liqueur
Instructions
- In large pitcher, stir together all ingredients.
- Serve over ice.
The only reason it’s been “cold” this summer (and I use that term loosely) is because of the rain. This weekend though it was in the 90s and I was sweating in my sundresses! Def could’ve used one of these drinks to cool down (still say you should call them Arnold Pom-mers 😀 )
I know, this freakin’ rain! This has just been the weirdest summer, but I won’t let it get in the way of enjoying a few Arnold Pom-mers 😉
I still liked the Arnold PAMAr or Arnold POMer angle for the name. But, regardless of the catchy namesake, I thoroughly enjoyed the beverage. It was very refreshing after a day of landscaping the new house. Great recipe.
You deserve an ice cold beverage every now and again 😉
What a yummy way to spike an Arnold Palmer! Perfect cocktail to sip all summer long.
Thanks so much, Liz!
I love me an arnold palmer, ESPECIALLY when it’s spiked! Gorgeous!
Thanks Dorothy!
Totally brilliant summer cocktail! I will be giving this a try around 5 o’clock!
Hey, where’s the fun in blogging if we have to wait until 5pm to break out the cocktails? Let’s start at 4:59 😉
Yum!! What a fun, refreshing summer treat. They look perfect to sip by the pool!
If only I had a pool 😉 But thanks Mary!
I need to start making Arnold Palmers – both spiked and regular – more often, especially with this hot weather. Love the idea of adding the PAMA to it! Not only delicious, but it gives it a wonderful color.
Thanks so much, Anne-Marie!
I love simple, delicious summer cocktails! Pinned!
Thanks Liz!
What a refreshing summer drink! I also make vanilla lemonade….it’s the best, eh? I need to get some of that Pama and try it.
Yes, after trying vanilla lemonade, I might never go back to regular. For that matter, I’ll be spiking it with PAMA from here to eternity as well 😉
